I am an Assistant Professor of Materials Science and Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas Arlington (UTA).
My lab is a multidisciplinary materials science research group conducting fundamental and applied research within the Dept. of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at UT Arlington.
My research is concentrated in the area of nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, and applications in the areas of polymer nanocomposites for additive manufacturing; water harvesting and treatment; CO2 capture and sequestration; batteries; bioengineering.
I have known Xplore since 2006 when I was an undergraduate student in Paris, France. Over time, I have become familiar with their twin-screw extruders which are in my opinion the best in the world for academic research. Xplore’s vertical twin-screw extruders uniquely combine precision and versatility. They allow working up to high temperatures, processing small volumes of materials, and moreover excellent reproducibility in sample quality and reproducibility.
Service
I also must acknowledge the great customer service of Xplore. Although I am in the US, Xplore has always been very rapid in responding to my students’ and my inquiries. All my communications with Xplore, from the CEO to engineers and technicians have been excellent and very professional.
I wish continued success for Xplore and will continue to acknowledge their twin-screw extruder systems in my scientific publications.
