Data Acquisition Software
Our proprietary data acquisition software enables the seamless capture of all process parameters. These parameters can be displayed graphically during experiments, streamlining operations. Data can also be saved in Excel file formats for easy access. Setpoints can be controlled via the software on a PC, just as they can be through the touch screen. Additionally, standard processing conditions can be stored and easily retrieved, ensuring reproducibility. A specialised programmable cleaning cycle is also included to ensure thorough cleaning of the processing components.
Rheological Data
Xplore has developed advanced rheological software through the modelling of the extrusion process in our Micro-Compounders. Our methodology is based on the precise extrusion (shear) conditions, which are essential for accurate (thermal) upscaling. This sophisticated rheological model is tailored to our conical, twin-screw extruder, correlating the actual melt torque with shear viscosity, as well as the corresponding average shear rate and shear stress.
